St. Joseph’s College, founded in 1916, bases its liberal arts curriculum, classroom teaching and community life on five core values: integrity, spiritual and intellectual values, service and social responsibility. The College believes that being a true success means striving for excellence in one’s career and character. St. Joseph’s College motto, Esse non videri – “to be, not to seem” – is the foundation of their educational philosophy.

St. Joseph’s College has two campuses: the main campus is located in the beautiful Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn, and the Suffolk branch campus is located in Patchogue, Long Island. Both campuses offer a wide variety of undergraduate study options through the School of Arts and Sciences, including traditional liberal arts majors, special course offerings, and certificate, affiliated and pre–professional programs. The Patchogue campus offers 12 practical Career Readiness Tracks.

St. Joseph’s College features a School of Adult and Professional Education as well as graduate degrees, including a Master of Science in Management and, in Patchogue, a Master of Arts in Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Special Education.

Tuition to the College is among the lowest of private colleges in the New York/Long Island metropolitan area.
