ACCREDITATION
Northwestern is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the education department is one of five Iowa colleges accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE); the social work department is among 10 Iowa colleges with baccalaureate programs accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; and the athletic training education program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

FINANCIAL AID
99 percent of students are given some amount of financial aid. Thus, the actual costs of tuition, boarding and lodging are much less. The college has agreed to give scholarships ranging from $ 3,000 to $ 12,000 per year to all INDUS students.
