Founded in 1839, Mount Allison University is located in Sackville, a small town in southeastern New Brunswick. With its combination of historical and modern facilities and its well-kept grounds, the campus is considered among the most beautiful in Canada. Mount Allison is primarily an undergraduate liberal arts university with a controlled enrolment of approximately 2,250 full-time students. It is a compact scholarly community designed to foster excellence in teaching, mentoring and student-centred research in small classes. The student-faculty ratio is about 16 to 1. Mount Allison was the first university in Canada to link most of its residence students to a campus-wide computer information network. Mount Allison University  currently have international students from over 40 countries. Students can start their studies in either September or January; most start in September.
