Admissions Criteria
The admission policies for the School of Law are established annually by the faculty. The standards are primarily based on undergraduate grade point average and LSAT score. However, significant weight is given to an applicant's personal statement, recommendations, employment history, military service, graduate work, activities, community service, and personal circumstances. Indeed, these other factors can play a decisive role in the admissions process. In addition to demonstrating academic potential, these factors can help the Admissions Committee identify applicants who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to our academic community.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required by date of law school enrollment and confirmation is necessary before registration. Each applicant must have taken the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).
