Located in St. George, Utah, Dixie State College was ranked #1 in the nation by Farmers Insurance for safe places to live in the United States.

Location
You can visit Las Vegas or tak a trip to the Grand Canyon, both of which are within two hours of campus.  Within 45 minutes of campus you can hike Angels Landing in Zions's National Park or sit by a camp fire in Pine Valley National Forest.  All of these recreation activites can be enjoyed easily on a weeknd break from your studies at Dixie.

Affordability
Dixie State College simpy costs less.  According to U.S. News "Best Colleges 05-06", Dixie placed 3rd in the nation in affordability for four-year colleges.

Support System
There is more to an education than sitting in a class room.  We have two great programs to help you expand your experience beyond the class room.  Our Friendship Family Program and Buddy System help International Students better experience American Culture, while sharing their own culture with those they meet. 

Combine these with our International Club and Dixie State College provides a support system for International Students to meet people and experience the culture, which we have discovered is an essential part of International Students achieveing academic succeess.

Size
It is true that we are not the biggest.  Maybe that is one of the best reasons to choose Dixie State College.  Our International Student population is small compared to other colleges, but what that gives you is the chance to be know by name and that is exactly what we want.  We want to learn from you, while you learn at Dixie.
