Chatham College which was established in 1869. At the Bachelor’s level, the College accepts only women but at the Master’s and Doctoral levels, the College accepts both men and women. The College is considered to be one of the best in America. The College has agreed to give scholarships to all students from Indus Foundation.  The scholarships range from $ 4,000 to $ 10,000 per year and are based on SAT/GRE/GMAT scores. Campus based summer employment is also available for INDUS students. The College will also arrange internships for throughout America.

Chatham College has integrated degrees which enable students to earn both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in only 5 years. The College is prepared to give conditional admission to students with low TOEFL scores of between 150 and 213.

Chatham College is home to 950 undergraduate and graduate students on 32 park-like acres in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh. The College's $50 million endowment is among the largest per student in the nation. Chatham remains a private, selective, fully accredited, nonsectarian institution, offering baccalaureate degrees only to women. Master's degrees, continuing education programs, and teacher certification are offered to women and men.

ENGINEERING DEGREE

Students wishing to pursue a degree in engineering may complete three years at Chatham College and then choose from among several schools and programs to finish their studies. Upon successful completion of the first year at the engineering school, the student will receive a B.A. or B.S. from Chatham College. The B.S. in engineering will be awarded by the engineering school following successful completion of their requirements (usually at the end of the second year there). At present, Chatham has cooperative 3-2 arrangements with Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania State University.
