The Indus Foundation is an educational organization dedicated to the promotion of higher education for the growing student population of India. The Foundation is well established in the USA and India for over 14 years, having extensive contacts with several accredited American and foreign universities.

An important mission of the Foundation is to galvanize high-impact educational collaborations between Indian Educational Institutions and reputed foreign universities. The Foundation recognizes that collaborative research programs, graduate and post-graduate programs, twinning / transfer programs, certificate programs, distance education programs, faculty & student exchange programs, study abroad in India programs, and other academic partnerships between Indian Institutions and foreign universities are extremely useful in meeting the rapidly growing educational needs in India. Further, the Foundation is committed to assisting Indian students for study in good foreign universities.

Mr. S.B.Anumolu, 63, is the President of the Indus Foundation Inc., New Jersey, USA, which was founded in 1995. Mr. Anumolu obtained his Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of  Management, Bangalore (IIM-B). He joined the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1969 and was trained at Mussorie and Mt. Abu. He worked in various senior level positions including that of Deputy Inspector General of Police and received letters of commendation from the Government for the good work done. He then worked as the Managing Director of an industry and later as Managing Director of a management consulting company where he led several business delegations to the USA, Canada, Japan, the UAE, and other Gulf countries.

INDO-AMERICAN EDUCATION SUMMIT 2009

The Indus Foundation is pleased to inform that Indo-American Education Summit on academic collaborations and study in America was held in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore from November 8 to 13, 2009. The objective of the Summit was to explore opportunities for academic collaborations between Indian institutions and American universities. The Summit also guided Indian students about opportunities for higher education in American universities.

The Indo-American Education Summit was a unique event which was held in India for the first time. The Summit was attended by university provosts, deans, and enrollment / recruitment officers of accredited American universities. Several hundred Indian institutions and organizations interested in academic collaborations participated in the Summit. Several thousand Indian students interested in exploring opportunities for study in America attended the Summit.

By all accounts, the Indo-American Education Summit was a resounding success. Similar education summits will be held in India once every year.

INDO-GLOBAL EDUCATION SUMMIT 2010

The Indus Foundation is organizing Indo-Global Education Summit 2010 on academic collaborations and student enrollment in Hyderabad, India, from November 16 to 20, 2010. The objective of the Summit is to explore opportunities for academic collaborations between foreign universities and Indian institutions. The Summit will also guide Indian students for enrolling in foreign universities. Some of the highlights of the Summit are:

Indo-Global Education Summit 2010 is a unique event which is being organized in India as a sequel to the highly successful Indo-American Education Summit held in 2009. The Summit 2010 will have sessions on Engineering & IT, Business & Management, Life Sciences & Biomedicine, Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. There will be one-on-one meetings between representatives of foreign universities and those of Indian institutions for academic collaborations. There will also be one-on-one meetings between representatives of foreign universities and Indian students. The Summit 2010 is specifically designed for university chancellors, presidents, provosts, deans, enrollment / recruitment officers, and their executive-level team members.

INDIAN ASSOCIATES

The Foundation invites well-established and financially sound Indian Institutions, Organizations, and Entrepreneurs to act as Indian Associates. The Associates will be involved in promoting and organizing Education Summits. Besides this, the Associates would offer educational services by way of educational collaborations and student recruitment in their own independent Centres. The Associates will have flexibility, freedom, and control over their Centres. The Associates will operate under the guidance of the Foundation, using its formidable expertise developed over a period of fourteen years.
